Business Meeting Minutes
Western NC Business Meeting: October 8th, 2011
- Meeting was brought to order by President, Diane Bowen.
- Secretary report read by Marci Timmons and accepted by WNCSGNA members.
- Financial report read by Becky Bottoms.
- $10,000.00 was placed in interest bearing account, earned 93 cents.
- Total money in WNCSGNA account is $29, 168.80
- Future meetings
- Spring 2012 – Digestive Health Specialists, meeting will be held at Forsyth Medical Center Conference Center in Winston-Salem, date to be determined.
- Fall 2012 – Marci Timmons from Lake Norman Regional Medical Center will plan and sponsor.
- Debbie Orndorff encouraged members to review standing rules and bylaws on the WNCSGNA website.
- Discussed slightly raising cost of meetings to cover expenses, no decision made.
- New President is Sherrie Andrew.
- Ballots were passed out and collected for:
- President-elect- Marci Timmons
- Secretary – Connie Williams
- Member at large – Judy Petticord
- Drawing for free membership to SGNA winners were:
- Jane Lavender, RN
- Tracy O'Bryant, Endotech
